This is my Munich. This is my TRYP.
Munich is a city that blends awesome views of snowcapped Alps, amazing museums, breweries, Gothic courtyards and modern architecture. Let
TRYP help you discover the capital of Bavaria like a real Münchner. (And hey, that’s ‘moonchner’ not muncher!)
Munich is the undisputed beer capital of the world, and home of the world-famous
Oktoberfest, but beer lovers year round can get their drink on at the landmark Hofbräuhaus, the most famous beer hall in the world. Established in the 16th century, it seats over 4,000 drinkers. But be warned that the food is designed to make you thirsty for more beer!
A bike tour is a great way to do justice to the city’s wide open parks, medieval alleyways and meandering riverfront. In summer, you can catch the natives baring it all and downing beer in Munich’s English Garden, twice the size of Central Park and the largest in Europe. Or while away the afternoon at Marienplatz, where you’ll find great shopping, dining and sightseeing. At night, head for the Atomic Café for pub grub and a live indie band, or, if your tastes run to the more high-brow, get tickets for something—anything— at the world-class Gasteig Cultural Center. You will no doubt be impressed.
